Seems like the quality of posts on almost ALL the boards in the last few months has really dropped off and the number of worthless posters has increased.

So since JBM still seems to have more adult WM than many boards what are your thoughts, is this tool going extinct? If so, what means, besides old connections will people use to get business done and create new business?

An actual moderated business only board would be a very welcome thing. Most of the nonbusiness posts (mine included) don't really belong mixed in with the business posts. Making a board like that would require some kind of invite only process or youd spend all day trying to ban idiots.

I think a lot of boards will continue to degrade and the business people will leave those boards and gravitate to the ones that best fit their personality and goals. Things are going great with us!

What will be the next big bang? I am still looking for a new adventure.

People are working harder and playing less, maybe. the ones who have no time for drama are sticking to the business topics or staying off the boards completely. Does anyone remember if this also happened in the little recession of 2000/01?

I think things have really slowed down for 90% of affiliates so they are left to just troll and post nonsense..

Also forums like JBM and GFY mix the business/spam with Off-Topic..

And I think this is because since the beginning if they had just a business section it was too slow and people just spent their time in off-topic anyways..

It's not just that, when times are tight the last thing people want to do is give away ideas, marketing help, or anything that might give another guy a leg up when it's so cut-throat for sales. Companies are cutting back on reps so there are fewer people out there to lend helping hands to newbies when the only focus is on whales or existing traffic webmasters who can help them make their commission goals. It's a vicious cycle of preservation and non-growth. If only we could find a way to make money off trolls, because right now no publicity beats bad publicity.
