first off i'd like to say that i have been watching this thread for awhile and i decided that it was time to post. i have been in the adult industry since 1994 and i never post on these boards. when you touch a soft spot, you ask for it brad shaw. the soft spot is my tank top. i wear my tanktop everywhere. its my trademark. i've got 40 of them, all black. now if you really would like to know the story, i was dragged into this dinner minutes before, by my good friend raffi at adultlounge.com who actually is responsible for getting me into this business, this explains why i didnt have time to go back and change into something more appropriate.i would like to thank chris mallick from paycom for having me at the last minute even though i was not invited, which is the explanation for the way i was dressed. It was a great dinner. i have learned one thing about life, that is, people are very judgemental. i was dressed in my usual attire because that is the way that i filter out judgemental shallow people, not to mention, i love comfort because i get more done that way. if its my appearance that you are concerned about, thats one thing, but if you would like me to make you more money in adult, just take a look at what i built for for a company called New Realities Technologies, Inc. i also wanted to say "thank you" to the people who back me up on this board, such as WEGCorey, J$tyle$, triumph, and anyone else who knows that its not how you look, its who you are inside. i commend you brad shaw, noone has ever got me on the boards.

To be honest with you noone at the dinner seemed to mind. for those of you who i did offend, i dressed up for you now. this is for you, and cheers!

Welcome to JBM Marty. The Pink # looks good, few people can pull that off. I do judge people on the way they look, it is human nature.

I was just jealous my company was not invited to the dinner after processing tens of millions of dollars with Epoch over the years.

If I ever get invited to a business dinner, I will wear this shirt to filter out the judgemental folks.

This thread is frikkin' funny, so I had to register and say my bit. I've been in the biz for a few years, pretty quietly, and while I'm not rich, I do OK. I definitely made a good chunk of change off of AC, as a lot of us did, and my AC Movie Pass retention still kicks ass (I think I'm getting around 7 months, last time I checked). I met Marty back in the day (maybe 1999) in Vegas, and even though he had no idea who the hell I was, he bought me drinks and dinner and actually listened to what I had to say. That's more than I can say for a lot of people in this biz.

I'm by no means a one-company guy. I make my money where I find the best deals. But I've done well with those guys, and Marty's always been straight-up. I'm not so sure about the tiara, though--that might be taking things a bit too far.

Welcome Marty. You look hot in that "dress up" pic...but ya know...if you would have worn that pink tu-tu at the dinner it would have sure made a statement on how you feel =)

I know how you feel about ending up there underdressed. Long story, but i once ended up at a nice restaurant in a bikini top and a bathing suit rap. I felt odd at first and then took the "to hell with it attitude". If I spent my life worried about what people think I wouldn't be enjoying life because I would be living it for everyone but myself. I judge people by a simple formula....how you treat me...how honest the relationship is...is what you get back...looks, what they wear...none of that is a factor. Some of the best dressed people I know are assholes and would stab you in the back without a second thought. Others, who don't even own a dress shirt let alone a suit, are there through thick and thin and would never screw you around.
