No. I don't rely on the same type of investments as most people.

My pops on the other hand is probably crying himself to sleep at night.

On the other hand I think most people look at the long term 10 - 15 years down the line..

Personally,I don't anticipate any changes. Professionally, yes. We were planning on adding some additional capacity starting first quarter of 09' and as of now that's on hold. We are also going through the p&l line by line locating any extra fluff or waste that might be going on.

Not really, and I see opportunity for potential upside in a number of areas so my intention is to invest a little outside of adult and take some calculated chances ... I just put a bid on a brick and mortar business.

Offered them 60% of the current asking price.

Their counter offer was 15% less than asking price.

I didn't counter. Reiterated my offer and detailed in black and white why my offer is fair. It's indisputable.

They countered by coming down an additional 10% and argued that I'm getting "good will".

I didn't counter. Reiterated my offer and explained why their "good will" isn't valued as high as they think.

Now, it's just a waiting game for them to realize that this is the best deal they're going to get ... and I'm ok with NOT getting the business - so ... GREAT if I do ... and WHATEVER if I don't

As an American living in Europe I see the prices going down over here. I make less money here then I did in the USA - but have more at the end of the month.

Yea, me too. I am less likely to purchase a want item as of lately. We only spend money on what we need and can afford. There is a big difference between want and need and most of us are impulse buyers, buying things we thought we needed and found out we could have done without it.

Besides, I like to have more money than less

I've put myself on the 24 hour rule for anything other than incidentals -- if I wait 24 hours and still am willing to go all the way back to the store to buy it, then it's ok to buy.
